A submission for my local camera club print competition - the theme was glass. The image was shot through an empty wine bottle filled with marbles, with a mirror at the end to supply light.
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH1
Lens: Panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake
Minor work in GIMP

Tanks Elyssandrel! Using GIMP cos I don't have PS installed, and my RAW editor is a bit limited itself.

Pretty good Paul, But did you mean to focus on the brown marble???

Sure did! It was what was different in the shot, nice sparkle on it. The rest of the bottle then took on that wonderful look.

Another lovely shot.
The bottle looks like its spinning. Nice depth of field as well.

Thanks Jim! I was going for a slightly fantastical shot, so the DOF really helped attain that I think.

A lovely photo amipal!
It really does feel like a nebula, or vortex. The colours work really well, with the red marble complimenting the greens.
